Swap is coming, it’s time to clean out your closet!
Experienced swappers start adding to their swap donation bags or boxes whenever they pull something out of their closet, put it on, and go “ehhhh.” That can be for any reason; the fit, the colors, the style, whatever… if you don’t absolutely love it, into the swap bag/box it goes. That includes clothes you just got at swap, if it turns out it doesn’t work for you, bring it back to the next swap! Life is too short to wear clothes you don’t like, and the clothing swap life means you can build yourself a wardrobe where you’ll love to wear every piece you have.
If swap is coming up a bit faster than you can go through your closet like that, you’ll want to set aside a couple of free hours to put on something fun to listen to, and try your clothes on. The rules above apply, if you don’t love yourself in it and it doesn’t make you feel like a million bucks? To the swap it goes! You can afford to be merciless, I promise. You’ll have lots of new wardrobe additions once swap is over. And again, we do this every spring and fall, your wardrobe can be a lot more fluid now than it was when you had to pay for every single piece you brought in. This also means that you can try different “looks” on yourself outside of your usual, and see what really suits you.

How much can you bring to swap? As much as you want. As long as you bring it from 10am-2pm on swap day, we will accept it to swap.
How much do you have to bring to swap? Nothing at all. If you have no femme clothing to swap because you’re in need of femme clothing, please come get clothes. We always have mountains of clothes in all sizes and styles, enough for everyone!
You’ll also want to bring a few extra bags or boxes with you to hold the clothes you bring home from the swap!
